Humber Keel 61FT Barge/ Boat

FOR SALE Humber Keel, built by Hunt & Fowler co in 1899. Originally working for British Oil & Cake Mills specialised in crushing linseed, cotton seed and soya beans to press out the oil they contained for use as animal feed.Has also recently been registered on the Historic ship register (enabling application for heritage lottery funding/grants) 61 ft x 15 ft with running air cooled 6cyl Lister HA engine. (Engine has been serviced and cleaned inside and out). 'Poem' is being sold as a project as she does require work to her, however she is not taking on water and has had the majority of the remedial work done. She is currently moored in Hirst Boatbuilders slipway in Knottingley, one of the last boat yards specialising in historic barge restorations.
