Hunter Horizon 32, Wheelhouse Yacht 1988.

Palomas is number 9 of a production line of 19 boats. Built in 1988, the Year a similar model won its class in the Round the Island race. Voted “yacht of the Year 1989.She is a cruiser with Outstanding sailing performance with the advantage of having a wheelhouse for protected sailing in poor conditions. Internal steering is by hydraulic wheel whilst external steering is by tiller with hydraulic assistance. External and internal controls also make safe handling under engine easy from either position.

Under my ownership I have made the following updates.1. 100watt flexible solar panel, coach roof mounted, with charge controller and 2 x100HA marine Batteries.2. New this year and still unused, Jeckells mainsail with 7/8 battens.3. Last winter the underwater hull was stripped back to the original epoxy coating, and had two new coats of antifoul. The keels were stripped back to metal, with five coats of epoxy, one tiecoat, two coats of antifoul.4.

The rudder has been repaired professionally and strengthened, with 5 coats of epoxy, one tiecoat and two of antifoul.5. Waterline has been raised, with Three new Epoxy coats and boot top finish in black to match the anti fouling. This will avoid waterline staining.6. The topsides have had all old gel repairs cut out Professionally, re gellcoated and polished. The hull now looks as good as new.prop.

Inventory Rig Original alloy mast and boom, with adjustable solid boom strut. S/steel rigging. Factor roller reefing. Sails New Jeckells heavy duty mainsail in HDT sailcloth. 2 reefs, Cunningham, double skinned 7/8 batten pockets.

Loose foot, sail number & insignia. Supplied March 2020.Unused jib, original Genoa cleaned and repaired March 2020. Engine. Yanmar 2GM20F. Fresh water cooled 20h.p. Diesel. Serviced June 2020.

All interior and nav lights are L.E.D.

Techimpex Gas oven with two burners & grill, on gimbals. Electrolux RM 212 fridge, mains and 12v only. Portable cool box, mains & 12v, Hot water calorifier, mains and engine heated. Heads. Jabsco marine toilet, manual controls. Shower with H & C water.

Hand basin. Heating. Eberspacher Airtronic D2 diesel heater. New in 2016. Safety. 3 x dry powder extinguishers, Auto and manual bilge pumps. Life ring. Deck.
