Hunter Medina 20' sailing boat. On good single axle break back trailer with trolly launching system. Complete with barely used outboard. Basic interior fitout. Could do with upholstery re covering.
Sails getting on a bit but usable (min and roller furling jib). Crusader Sails do a good new set for reasonable money. Hull has been painted well in a single pack marine paint. Has hard antifouling applied. Needs a good wash as it has stood whilst I have been in hospital for a year or more.
Hunter Association says :- With its light 860kg displacement and lifting keel the Medina is straightforward to launch and recover, while the low (keel up) draught allows Medinas to reach those places other boats cannot go. With a high performance bendy mast, fractional rig and 140% deck-hugging genoa, the Medina is fantastic to windward and is capable of matching or beating many fast 27 footers. Flat after hull sections promote early surfing and Medinas claim to have attained in excess of 10 knots under spinnaker downwind giving an exciting ride. On at least one occasion, a Medina racing in the Round The Island Race has been able to give a Channel 31 a good run for its money! Boat is out of water on it's trailer in Brightlingsea.
