Hurley 22 for sale. Sail number 573. Built 1970 by Hurley marine Plymouth. This is a very reluctant sale. We have had Katrina for four seasons now.
She is a great little boat and we feel very safe in her. She is ready for the 2017 season. We used her for weekends and a 10 day trip with our little girl who was 1 at the time. Hurley's are great little sea boats and have crossed the Atlantic. One chap has got a video blog on YouTube. His boat is identical to Katrina.
Worth watching. The genuine reason for this sale is due to another wee one coming along. At the time we purchased Katrina it was perfect for the two of us, even 3, but four with all the paraphernalia that go with children it will be getting a little tight. 4 berth, 2 x gas hobs, toilet, sink, all ropes required with some spares. It will be a sad day when she goes, the girlfriend wanted to keep her on her aunties farm for the children once they are able to sail her, however this would be 10 years and she needs to be used. She is good to go and currently is in the boat yard. Fees have been paid until 7th April when she is going in the water. She Can stay there longer if paid and discussed with the yard at £22 per week. She can be lifted onto a lorry/trailer free of charge if required.Possible use our mooring in mylor yacht harbour free of charge until June 1st and then she would need to be moved.
She is a classic boat and has some minor age related repairs damaged/scuffs through use. There is slight patch of spider cracks on starboard side gel coat. This is superficial and not structural in any way and is an easy repair, this there before I owned her. Feel free to contact ref any questions or to arrange a viewing.
