This Turnstone a 1976 Hurley 22 bilge keel sailing boat, the boat is currently at titchmarsh mariner Walton with fees paid till the end of March 2018 after that time you would have to pay the mooring fees or move her to a new home. Taken from the Hurley web sites-The Hurley 22 is a long-established family cruising yacht ,Developed in 1964 and first sold in 1966, the Hurley 22 became an instant hit. Quite aside from her pretty lines - she looked like a 'proper yacht' - she is solidly built and is a good performer. From the outset the Hurley 22 was intended to be raced as well as cruised. A H22 even won the Round The Island Race in 1967 and they acquitted themselves well on the JOG circuit.
But it has been the H22's cruising performance that has won the respect of many yachtsmen over the years. Hurley owners speak fondly of the little boat's performance and sea-kindliness. The boats have proved themselves on long cruises; several 22s have crossed the Atlantic, and at least one has cruised the Pacific. This year I replaced all the halyards, fitted a new vhf antenna, fitted a led top mast light and applied two coats of 2season antifouling. The Led and the Vhf cabling will need running to the box, she comes with an anchor and 40 feet of chain 12v battery and a solar panel for Charging.
I, ve taken photos with and without cushions. The cushions are original and as such are not in great shape but to be honest we always used camping mats and keep the cushions in the shed at home. The boats power comes from an 5/6 HP outboard which is dropped into the rear well but there is no outboard included with the sale I’m afraid .If you have any questions. Or would like to see her let me know and I will meet you and show you round.
