Hurley 22 Yacht

For sale is our Hurley 22 bilge keel yacht, she was built by South Coast Marine in Millbay Plymouth. “Flash” is a nice small sturdy yacht in that can sleep 4 if required, 2 people in the forward berth and 2 quarter berths. Her bilge keels make the boat ideal for areas where it drys out and suitable for drying moorings, She is currently out of the water in Plymouth and we are selling due to having upgraded to a larger yacht for all the family. Flash comes with: Sails (mains and hanked jib, Furling Genoa which has just been cleaned and checked) Plastimo Roller reefing (requires fitting) Recent Clipper duet (depth and speed) Ropes Fenders Anchor and chain in bow storage locker Nav lights (port, stbd and masthead ) Bilge pump Toilet (tested and working) VHF radio Solar Panel Recent leisure battery Internal cabin lights Tiller cover Table for cockpit Fused switch panel Plastimo boarding ladder 1990’s Mercury 5hp External fuel tank Cockpit dodgers Newly manufactured stainless tiller bracket. All running rigging was replaced in 2015 Horseshoe lifebuoy As mentioned the Plastimo roller reefing is yet to be fitted, however the boat is in the yard and a frame has been made up to enable the lowering of the mast so it can be fitted (the roller reefing is second hand but comes with additional forestay so can just be changed out).

Inside the cabin the previous owner (a yacht surveyor) had fitted the extra bulkhead to give the coach house roof support. The engine is a 90’s Mercury 5hp and comes with an external fuel tank, the engine is kept in the outboard well inside the stern locker. The engine has proved to be very reliable and hasn’t let us down. It starts very easily and runs as it should.
