For Sale is our beloved Hurley Signet 20 “Red Pepper” She is a Fin Keeled Boat, which was designed with 4 berths, although this is tight. RP’s layout is not conventional for a Hurley Signet, but it comfortably sleep 2. Year Built is Unknown. The interior is in a reasonable condition but is beginning to look a little tired in places, the deck paint could do with being freshened up, but this is only cosmetic. The hull Is sound, and all of the woodwork is in good condition.

She has been lifted out of the water and scrubbed and antifouled this spring (2017) Included are the following Features/equipment •Yamaha 2001 4hp 2 stroke Long Shaft Outboard with remote and integral fuel tanks •Garmin GPS •Silva Compass •VHF Radio with New Ariel 2016 •New Electrical Wiring (2015) •2 x Sealed Lead Acid Batteries (38Ah) •1 x Solar Panel (Approx 20 – 30W) including solar regulator •Fresh Water Tank and electric Pump to a sink mounted on the Starboard side. •CD/FM/AM Radio •Jabsco Sea Toilet •Cabin Interior Lighting •12v Socket •Nasa Target Echo Sounder and Log – The Log does not work correctly, but we have not worried as a more accurate Speed can be given by the GPS. •New Wooden Tiller (2017) •New Wooden Washboards (2017) •Horseshoe Life Ring •Racing Winches have been fitted by the previous Owners •Pull pit mounted Nav Lights, Steaming Light, Stern Light, Masthead Tri Colour and Anchor Light. •Radar Reflector •5kg Bruce anchor with approx. 25 – 30m of Chain •Spare Danforth Anchor •Genoa has had a replacement UV Strip (2016) •The Genoa is stored on a Plastimo Roller Reefing system.

•The Main Sail is Tired and has had some repairs carried out over the years, but it appears to still perform well •The Interior is in need of some minor repairs and maintenance moving forward eg. The quarter berths could do with some new head lining etc. •The Cockpit Drain and Sink waste skin fittings have been renewed (2017) If you are interested we would highly recommend viewing before purchase. At Present she is out of the water at Oare Creek, We have paid for her to be re-launched, but she may also be able to be craned onto a trailer or boat transporter instead.
