Inflatable Rib Zodiac Gt mk1 Rib Boatdeck

Hi, Welcome to my auction . Here for auction is a zodiac GT mk1. Which I think is only suitable as SPARES. I tried to get her back in the water 2yrs ago, but only being able to do it in the garden wasn't the best.The transom had started to pull away from the sides. I followed all the correct procedure with the proper glues, but in reflection I think this needs doing in a controlled environment, not the garden, it was hot one minute then cold and damp from dew in the morning ( I did cover her with a tarp)But alas when I took all the clamps and straps away it started to pull away again after a day or two.And it had a fair few holes although these I fixed fine.Then I found out I had another little one on the way and lost interest.

The boat itself, in my opinion has seen better days, but maybe you could take the transom off it and all the handles ect.But what I think is worth having is the aluminium and wood flooring, which makes a nice flat rigid deck. The wood is all sound but could do with a sanding and repainting.This also comes with a couple of oars (which need sanding and re-varnishing) some buoys and an anchor.I also have a mercury 18 hp engine which I was going to use on her, but I'm selling on another listing. The engine started after 2yrs with about 10 pulls on old fuel.Check it out... Good luck!!! Cheers Darren. On 03-Apr-17 at 19:42:18 BST, seller added the following information: Hi all,Lots of people are asking for photos of the rib/boat.So I've taken a few photos of where the transom has come away from the sides.And some photos of some of the handles ect.And just to be really clear the first photo of the boat blown up is from 2yrs ago.Shes been behind the shed for the last two years and feels a bit brittle and has a few more holes.I know its nearly Easter, but I really can't see this being resurrected to walk on the water again.Like I say it feels too brittle and has more holes than a secondhand dart board.But like I say the deck, handles and other bits are whats worth having.Cheers Darren.
