Invader 17ft Sports Boat Project

Here for sale is my beloved project boat "Quicky" - a rare example of a GW Invader, Model 171, built around 1989. The fibreglass hull and deck are solid and clean, in white and blue gelcoat as can be seen from the pics. The interior has been cleaned up and partially re-fitted (instrument cluster mainly) and some of the initial electrical work has been done. It is fitted with Quicksilver throttle/gear unit, Quicksilver Rack and pinion steering, and all instruments are available. Included in the sale is the following:Rover 3.5 litre V8 along with custom fabricated marine exhaust headers and heat exchangers.

(the engine is worth £500 - £750 alone)Mercruiser Pre-Alpha sterndrive, complete with trim rams, trim pump (2 available) prop, and spares.Trailer - it is sitting on a trailer with small lightweight axles on it, just for moving around the yard - however, included is a 1275 kg braked axle, and wheels ready to be fitted. The trailer has been modified and upgraded. Hand winch fitted. Weather cover (blue in first pic) and bimini canvas, in good condition, all new pop studs, does need a little stitching on the zip seams.A big box of spare parts and things I bought but haven't got round to fitting. The trailer is included but is NOT suitable for road transport, so will need to either bring your own trailer, or slide it all on to another trailer or low load recovery truck etc The engine is currently on a pallet but I have an engine crane and can lift it in to/on to a vehicle for you.
