Invader 240 Cruiser

Stella Maris is for sale as her owner Alan - a good friend of mine - has suffered a stroke and is no longer able to use her. I am listing the boat on Alan's behalf because his stroke has left him with communication and mobility issues. He will, of course, be personally involved in any negotiations and/or formalities relating to the sale. Alan has owned Stella Maris since 2009. A new engine and drive had been fitted prior to him purchasing the boat at a cost of over £10,000 + VAT.

The boat has been lightly used since and the engine starts and runs beautifully. A folder of receipts will come with the boat, including one from July 2017 for £1,735 (for fitting a new fuel pump amongst other things) and another from June 2015 for £2,650 (covering servicing of the drive and the replacement of the power steering pump). Engine instrumentation includes rev counter, engine temperature gauge, voltmeter and oil pressure gauge. For navigation, she has a Garmin GPS and an Apelco fishfinder (depth sounder). She also has both a Standard Horizon GX1500E fixed VHF DSC radio and an Icom handheld VHF.

Stella Maris can sleep 4 in her saloon and aft cabin berths - both of which were reupholstered in 2016. She has a separate toilet compartment with a Jabsco sea toilet. Her galley area has an electric hob and fridge, plus a sink with both hot and cold water. There is also a shower on the bathing platform. On deck, her recently renewed seating can comfortably accommodate up to 6 adults.

Her cockpit tent - new in 2012 - makes this a pleasant place to be in any weather. A Fusion MS-CD 80 CD/MP3 player provides the sounds! Her inventory includes various lines and fenders; a Bruce anchor; a boat hook; charts of the local area; a lifebuoy and a number of lifejackets.
