Islander 17 Sailing Boat

Much admired islander 17. Dark green mock clinker hull with cream topsides. Beautifully varnished timber rudder and tiller, hatch etc. Brand new mast and rigging last year all hauling lines travel inside the mast. Sails in excellent condition, main and jib in white.

Mermaid has a v berth in the bow with a couch berth either side of the cabin two further berths beneath the cockpit seats, 2 cockpit seat cushions all new and covered in burgundy heavy duty leatherette. Good storage shelves with back rests either side of the cabin although 4 berth sleeps two very comfortably.comes with boat hook, anchor, chain and lines. At stern of the boat is a central wet locker with a gas and battery locker either side, cockpit drain with shut off valve.she has been restored to a high standard in the last couple of years with new interior, including linings to the cabin, new cushions etc.Comes on a purpose built trailer. Currently lying in the boat yard at Coniston Cumbria. Storage including unlimited tractor launch and recovery by boat yard staff can be transferred to the new owner.A really nice boat, much admired and a joy to sail, safe predictable handling.
