Kelt 9m Yacht

We are selling our Kelt 9m yacht 'Hadajar' One of only a small number of Kelt 9m's made. She is a great club racer or fast (for her size and age) fin keel cruiser. She performs best in light airs in the 10-15knt range, but is also a capable sea boat and feels very safe in heavier weather. She is a very dry boat. We have raced her regularly in Brighton as well as taking many trips across the channel and as far afield as the Isles of Scilly.

Over the years we have upgraded many components including: All sails, standing and running rigging replaced in the last 5 years, including brakes and blocks. As well as the usual oil and filter changes it was serviced earlier this year, and in the last 2 years has had new: Lifter pumpInjector pumpValves seats regroundThermostatExhaust elbowStarter motor She is currently out of the water for antifouling, going back in on Mon 27th Nov. 3/4 coats of Micron Extra have been put on the hull, the keel has been stripped back, treated with Fertan, primed and antifouled and we have fitted a new prop shaft anode. Like many boats of this era she gets the odd small osmosis bubble, but we simply grind them back and filler them as they appear, around 2 - 6 on each annual lift out, although we did not need to do any this time.

I have taken detailed pictures of the underside of the boat during this liftout, which I can send on request. Inside she sleeps 6 with double cabin fore and aft and 2 single berths in the saloon. The interior is due to be re varnished, of which we are going to do as much as possible before sale. The boat has been regularly used over the last 6 years or so, and also regularly maintained and upgraded. She is all ready to go racing or cruising again as soon as back in the water.
