Kelt 9m Yacht

We are selling our Kelt 9m yacht 'Hadajar'. One of only a small number of Kelt 9m's made, she is a great club racer or fast (for her size and age) fin keel cruiser. She performs best in light airs in the 10-15knt range, but is also a capable sea boat and feels safe in heavy weather. She is a very dry boat, and a pleasure to sail. Inside she sleeps 6 with a double cabin fore and aft plus 2 single berths in the saloon.

There is a fold out saloon table, which does not appear in the photos above as it is currently out of the boat for re-varnishing, along with the 2 forward most sole boards. Photos to follow. She is a comfortable boat to take cruising, however our main focus has been club racing. We have raced her regularly in Brighton for the last decade, as well as taking many trips across the Channel. She has also been raced / sailed all along the South Coast and as far afield as the Isles of Scilly.

Unknown hours but has been continuously serviced and maintained throughout our ownership. Last spring we took the engine out, sandblasted and repainted it. We also carried out a major service, including regrinding of valve seats, new head gasket, thermostat, exhaust elbow and starter motor. We have also replaced both the high pressure and lifter pump and the engine mounts in the last few years.

Her mooring in Brighton is currently paid up until the end of March this year. At this point we are planning to put her on the hard in either Newhaven or Shoreham until sale. As such, if you would like to have a sea trial then please get in touch sooner rather than later.
