Condition Description: 
Very Good Condition, the unit cleaned up easily with no corrosion or seized components. It is the old unit in my previous motor. Although over 20 years old and with trips to Scotland, Denmark, Germany and Holland to its credit, it has faired well. The motor was serviced in a very dedicated way by me and this heat exchanger is proof of that. It is very important that the uint is the correct one for any prospective buyer. More details are available on request to ensure it will fit. A set of end 'O' ring seals will be required and a new manifold gasket should be used. The gasket for the exit downpipes will need to be replaced too. An anode is included, but care must be taken with the radiator cap, the pressure settings may alter depending upon the size of the engine.
Description: 

This unit will fit many of the mid range 4 cylinder Kubota engines. At the time this unit was bought there were 2 4 cylinder choices and this heat exchanger was the one which fitted the smaller of the two. The size of the unit it came from was the 2.3 unit but I believe it will also fit smaller bore units with the same size block. I can communicate regarding the suitability of the unit. I will not drop the price too low as the core will fit my replacement heat exchanger although the box has been considerably enlarged and altered in shape and construction.

Having a spare is of use but it must be noted that this unit is over 20 years old and shows no significant signs of wear or degradation. It is possible to use sealant on the exhaust mating surfaces, but gaskets should be replaced, I discarded the 'O' rings as although they were intact, I never reuse them. The mating surfaces for the rings have been lightly cleaned but they must have a proper clean and silicone grease must be used on the rings. The radiator cap is original and maybe could be replaced. The entire unit has been lightly sprayed, no damage was found to any of the components.

Delivery is negotiable, it is possible I may be driving past a prospective buyer so the unit can be inspected or measured etc.
