Leisure 20 Trailer Sailer With 4hp 4stroke Outboard Engine

Hi back up for sale Mr Rufus White at greatly reduced price, original blue gel coat hull and white topside (this boat as never been painted), comes with a very low hours 4hp Yamaha longshaft 4 stroke engine, just serviced with it's own intergrel 2.5litre fuel tank or fuel tap switchable to a secondary 25litre fuel tank under rear locker. The engine is situated inside the cockpit area on the centre line, so easy to start/service, and locked straight ahead the boat will accurately steer on the tiller in the forward or astern positions. Comes with a full set of sails including a multi coloured spinnaker ( needs small repair) and a spinnaker pole, mainsail number 206, plus second one, and 3 genoa's of different sizes, all sails are white. Not many electronics or instruments with it as it's been used on fresh water when I bought it. (Kettle and cooker are not with the boat, but not dear to buy.

Comes on it's own fully functioning twin axle trailer with new mudguards, 4 brand new wheels and tyres, a perfectly good spare and it's original 4 wheels and tyres, to put back on when the trailer is standing. All the brakes are free and fully functioning on steel rods (not cable). The wheel bearings are well greased and seem good, all the wheelnuts are oiled and free (should you get a puncture) and the suspension is on steel leaf springs (not rubber which cracks, twists and drops). The outfit comes with 2 straps, a light board and is ready to tow away and use straight away. These 20's are good safe family boats, but are not slugs to sail, and must be the definitive trailer sailer, any smaller and you have no headroom.

I am 6ft and can stand up, with my head bowed, and longer and you have a weight/width problem. As stated it's 20ft length x 8ft beam and approx 3ft draft. It's bilge keeled, so can sit on the ground, comes with anchor, chain and rope, 4 hull fenders, 1 horse shoe life buoy, 2 bilge pumps, new roller reefing system fitted last year, and complete with all ropes, stays, rigging clips/pins for lifting mast. It's got a brand new unused chemical toilet, under forward V berths. Boat is rigged as a 3 berth, 2 at the front (V berth) and one 6ft length starboard quarter berth.

The port quarter berth is 6ft 6" long. The slat seating comes out (3 bolts), and the foam cushions can be refitted to make 4 berth, but needs cleaning or renew, complete with 2 excellent blue vinyl waterproof cushions for cockpit area. All in all an excellent ready to tow and sail cruiser, which you can weekend on. A lot of fun for not a lot of money £2,250.00 ono , .
