Regretfully we are selling our beloved Leisure 22 sailing boat. We have owned her since 2010 and have spent many happy hours sailing in her, however, due to time constraints we cannot justify keeping her. This bilge keel yacht is very stable at sea and is an ideal size for a small family or a couple looking to use her for short trips around the UK coastline. She requires some repair, needs some TLC and replacement rigging. The main boom has come away from the mast; the forestay and the foresail need replacing; the anchor compartment cover is missing.
We would recommend replacing the mainsail as well. The mast is currently down, ready for her to be moved. Apart from this, she sails very well. The engine (Honda 5hp outboard) was new in 2011 and always starts first time. When she has been taken out of the water, there has been no sign of osmosis and her keel is in good condition.
She has 5 berths- one double and one single in the main cabin and one double in the forecabin. There is a heads compartment with a pump toilet which has never been installed. The galley has a table (which folds down to create the double berth), a dual hob gas cooker and a manual pump sink. The cockpit has four cushions, holds the gas canister under a seat and there is a mounted Clipper depth sounder. She is steered by tiller.
She is currently moored in Aberystwyth Marina.
