Leisure 23 Sailing Boat / Yacht

Leisure 23 sailing yacht / boat Manufactured in 1979 this is quite a tidy example of this popular 5 berth vessel. Bilge keel. Anti-fouled spring 2015 but has not been in the water in 2016 due to time commitments. Roller reef head-sail. Mainsail is slab reefing.

Both mainsail and head-sail recently "serviced" by Arun sails. Fitted with an inboard Yanmar 1GM10 diesel engine - 10HP. Very reliable little engine quite capable of motoring for sustained periods and quite economical too (Diesel). Twin batteries. Calor gas cooker.

Built in toilet. NASA marine instruments. VHF radio and lots of other bits and bobs etc. Inside the cabin there is standing headroom (for me at 5’10”) which is quite good for a 23’ boat. The cushions are all present and have original covers in good condition.

Even has the matching cushions for the cockpit. We have had lots of fun in her over the years but time now for a bigger boat. Currently located on a trailer near Lockerbie. Viewing welcome. I can deliver Morning Mist to sensible locations for the cost of fuel etc.

It will need craned off the trailer. Trailer is not included in the sail (but could be available by negotiation if desired). I will shortly be preparing her for the season which will involve an engine service and antifouling the hull etc. If unsold by the start of April we will be putting her in the water at Greenock where we will make use of her while still advertising for sale but this time “in the water” Phone David on 0phone or contact through classifieds board for any questions or to arrange viewing.
