For sale is my pride and joy! There's a new marina opening in May and the vessel size limit is 6m, and this absolute head-turner is 7.6m - so I need to change down a size, sadly. This boat is TOTALLY insane. People gawp at you everywhere you go, whether she's on the trailer or on the water. If you don't like being the centre of attention, this probably isn't the right boat for you - maybe check out Boston Whalers instead ;-) Not only does everyone and their dog want to chat about the boat, but people even send their children over to you to get them to ask about the boat.
Hell, I've even had one guy swim out to me when I was at anchor just to say hi and chat about it. There's something about her plum stem and open transom that gets everybody's heart racing. So, more details about the boat: She's got a heavily laid Epoxy GRP hull with a UV varnished interior ply veneer. Her synthetic teak deck is a zero maintenance affair, and it looks stunning. At 7.6m LOA, she's extremely luxuriously fitted out (her pop-up cleats are works of art).
She was one of six superyacht tenders constructed for an owner in 2008, and when the main vessel was refit in 2014, the tenders were replaced with six more of the same design from the same Baltic boat yard. (Oh to be mega-rich!) She's an EXTREMELY seaworthy vessel, her hull design is very effective at slicing through chop and swell, and she doesn't slam at sea at all (I was a little skeptical that this hull shape would be suitable for the Western Approaches, but I couldn't have been more pleased with its performance!). She's propelled by a Mercury Optimax 150hp and is good for 35kts with four passengers on board. The engine is immaculate and off the top of my head I think has around about 250 hours logged - will confirm this week. Needless to say she's fully serviced and ready for the season ahead.
This boat is simply extraordinary. The plotter is a Raymarine C120W, and is bigger than a lot of televisions. The sale includes the trailer, and it's amazing (I'm a man who appreciates a good trailer). Viewings and questions welcome - She's on her trailer outside my units in Falmouth. Looking for a quick-ish sale as I need to find a smaller replacement and get it ready for the season pretty soon.
