Macgregor 26 Yacht

This boat is straightforward and simple to sail, great for over-nighters with a small family. I have taken the electrics out as they were worn out and our needs were for day cruising in Poole harbour and so no lights or other gadgets required that aren't available as mobile versions these days. The swing centreboard is in good condition although I would advise replacing the wire at the end of this year (special spanner included for those who know these boats). The rudder is also in good condition. The outboard is a good old reliable 9hp - will need a service at the end of this season.

The sails (main and geny) are in good condition. We have just had new cushions made for the galley and had the hull and deck professionally polished last season. Accessories - cushions for fore and aft berths, cushions for cockpit, meths cooker (safe and reliable to USA spec). The loo works well and doesn't leak! It has a trailer but it is not roadworthy.

We are selling because we are moving some distance inland - just can't keep it.
