Macwester 32” Ketch Rig Yacht

32 foot on the water this beauty is seaworthy, has travelled to Morocco , the med, and of course is currently moored off the west welsh coast. She was s a beauty from the age before accountants started marking board, a real classic! She has everything you’d need to get out to sea, to live aboard, or to combine harbour and sea time as she currently does. She has 2 cabins, fore and aft, a wheel house, and of course living areas and coooker, toilet and of course all the safety gear like digital radio, radar, chart plotter, latest fire safety gear and of course automated bilge pumps etc. She sails like a dream, stable and secure, she has plenty of space, to rage and we will even throw in all the life jackets, tender and even a small 2 hp tender outboard.

She has a recent survey 3 years ago and we did a lot of the work needed when we bought it. We have loved this old girl, had loads of adventures in her. She is registered on the ships register and has an international call sign. She is a serious boat ideal for the non-professional sailor, robust and sturdy, of course she is 50 years old so shows signs of age, but she is second to none, everybody loves her and she gains respect every time we pull into harbours, sailors especially hold her in high regard! Engine is good, 35 horsepower and motors nicely at 6 knots, apparently bullet proof BMC 1.5 1974 taxi engines are unbreakble, service and new filters recently.
