Maxi 87 Sailing Yacht

Lovely maxi 87 yacht, purchased late 2017 as student accomodation and only selling now as I have realised in the final year of university I will not have the time or money to maintain her. She is entirely seaworthy and can easily be sailed to a nearby marina. Only needs a number of small jobs doing: - Short in the interior lighting electrics- change of propshaft seals (replacement seals included)- replace freshwater pump (replacement pump included)- blocked bilge pump- ignition barrel is functional but needs replacing - companionway doors could do with a new coat of varnish and occasionally stick Lovely performance under sail, was cruised around irish sea in 2018 and north wales 2019. Engine is a 13hp volvo md7a, very economical and runs perfectly but can be a hard starter from cold. Now has a brand new starter motor.

Fin keel that draws just over 5 ft means she is very nimble and easy to handle. Included equipment is a silva s15 radio, furuno gp32 gps, an analogue depth sounder (old but works and is accurate), tiller autopilot that can hold to compass bearing or wind direction and a bruce anchor with 30m of chain and 30m of rode.also included is a redcrest dingy with a honda outboard. Includes a galley with a coldbox, fresh and saltwater sink and a parraffin taylors stove. Dining table opposite that can be converted into a double berth. Includes main with lazy jacks, jib and spinnaker sails (note that while the deck fittings exist for a spinnaker there is no spinnaker pole).

There is also a genoa sail however this is damaged and in need of repair. Currently lying in preston marina, please feel free to contact me for more info. Relisted as she had some issues with the starter motor after the lockdown. She now has a brand new starter motor and runs fine. The solar panels in the picture are NOT included with the boat.
