Mayland 18 Fishing Boat And Trailer

This boat and trailer have been carefully re-fitted and prepared to take to our seaside holiday home that we now have to sell so owning this boat and living 90 miles from the nearest sea sadly necessitates its sale. THE BOATA great looking 18 foot Mayland with a displacement hull that enables the boat to stand upright on a dry harbour floor. It is set up as a fishing boat with a lockable enclosed cabin ahead of the cuddy cabin - ideal for safe storage of fishing gear and all the other boat paraphernalia.Main engine is a very economical and bomb proof 3 cylinder diesel Kubota with a Hurth gearbox and marinized by Nanni. The engine has been fully serviced with oils changed, new sump gasket, diesel pipes, oil pipes, water pipes, oil filter, alternator belt, water filter, diesel uplift pump, fuel filter, drain taps, battery, exhaust pipe and the starter motor and alternator have been checked and refurbished as necessary.Auxiliary engine is a 5HP Johnson 2 stroke with integrated fuel tank and connection for separate tank if required. This engine has had very little use, looks almost new and starts easily.The boat has all new morse controls, navigation lights, cutlass bearing, solar panel, fire extinguisher, cleats, wooden seating, wooden trim and rubber straking.
It has been professional re-wired to include new fuse board, oil pressure gauge, water temperature gauge, battery charging gauge, cigar type plug in charger and an automatic bilge pump. There are 8 new fenders, one new life jacket, new boat hook, wooden paddle and a new hand held radio. Wiring is in place to add further accessories as required.The cabin and upper deck have been painted with marine paint and the new wooden trim and seats yacht varnished. The boat sides are in the original gel coat and the underside is painted with anti foul paint.THE TRAILERA very substantial braked, twin axle Snipe trailer with a newly boarded flat base that the boat easily sits on. It has twin Indespension axles, good bearings, new brake shoes, new tyres, spare wheel and a new piston for trailer brake operation.
There is a standard jockey wheel and an electric jockey wheel that makes moving the boat quite easy, this works from the boat’s battery. There is a light board a two new ratchet straps.The boat can easily be launched from the trailer but if the launch pad isn’t very steep and/or the car’s tow bar is low then ropes and an extension bar might be required.The engines and transmission can easily be demonstrated and the boat has been tested, without any problems, on a nearby lake and a video of this is available if you send me your email address or Whatsapp.The boat is 18 feet long (5.49m), Beam 6 feet 7 inches (2.01m), Draft 1 foot 3 inches (0.4m)The combined weight of the trailer and boat is approx. 1,700 KG.Tow it away and go fishing or I can arrange delivery.Any questions please call me on phone.I have also produced, for my own use, a set of instructions for operating the boat.
