Hi, For sale is our Mazury 500 open boat with a road roller trailer. It comes with a 75hp Evinrude E-TEC engine. Since new it was used for only 150h so it is in a very good condition. It is ideal starter boat which can give you numerous happy hours on a water. We are using it mainly on Thames with occasional trips to the south coast.
Due to its size it tow and launch very easily. Some more details. Hull: Hull (Full GRP) is in a very good condition. It got hight freeboards which make the boat very safe - especially for a little ones. Our 4 years old daughter love to spend time onboard.Few scratches to the decals but in general very good condition.
It is presenting very well. All internal upholstery in a very good condition - no tears or sun damage. Boat when not used is under full cover as per photo. Cover got 2 years and is high quality product (£900 when new). All dials are working (new tachometer fitted in May).
Raymarine chart plotter is not included in the advertised price, but could stay on boat at an extra cost. Boat will come with originally equipped depth sonar (Raymarine ST40). It got some intermittent lack of bottom reading which is most probably due to some air in inhull transducer. Refit should sort that out. 12V "car" sockets is fitted and perfect for a small fridge or for device charging.
There is also a Bimini top included for those sunny days. Hull is very spacious and got numerous lockers. It comes with an anchor (dedicated compartment and bow roller) with 7m of chain + 23m of rope. 2 life jackets, 6 fenders and full set of ropes included. Hull got 2 scuppers on the sides so it is self bailing.
It also got electric bilge pump It is a quite capable boat. This year we spend a whole month in a Chichester Harbour having few good days out on the Solent and Isle of Wight. Few numbers: Length 4,99m Width 2,27m Draught 0,25m Weight without engine 395kg Fuel tank 55l Max engine power 66kW Crew 6 persons Design category C Engine: 2006 Evinrude E-TEC 75. It is a perfect match for the boat. With a load and crew of 3 it is capable of reaching 30 knots.
Yet it is very economical (especially compared with in board 3L engines). Optimal cruising speed around 20knots will end up with 10l/h. Chill out on Thames (at 8km/h) and you could expect under 2l/h. It was fully serviced at the beginning of the season (May this year). That include: - spark plugs - fuel filter - water separator filter - gearbox oil - new complete water pump - VST valve clean It is all good to go for another 2 years or 250hours.
Engine (and whole boat) is very lightly used. It is just under 150h and most of time RPM were under 2k.As few people has asked about misalign between photo and description. The engine is 75hp version. When I bought the boat myself original decals were peeling on the edges so I've decided to replace them. As 75hp and 90hp engines are exactly the same with difference in software and few hp in reality, I have decided to go for an "optical tuning" and bough new decals from 90hp version.
That is the whole story about it :) Trailer: 2006 bramber roller trailer, originally supplied with the boat. It is a 1500kg trailer with a 1100kg of payload. Currently down-plated to 1400/1000kg so it can be legally towed on a standard B license with my Honda CRV. Car is 2050kg + 1400kg for trailer which is just under allowed 3.5t. I never been on a weighting ramp with the trailer but I'm pretty sure that the whole rig is around 1000kg so it can be legally down-plated even more if needed.
Due to the low weight it does tow very easily, no need for a 4x4. I've rebuild whole brake system in April - every single part is new and original ALKO one. Bearings are very quiet and doesn't heat up on the way. Trailer comes with a brand new Hankook tyres (fitted in April) and bulldog hitch lock (new for £120). I've recently fitted a new winch, but never used it yet as boat stays in the water for the summer.
Boat is currently moored on Thames in Penton Hook marina in Chertsey and can be seen there. If needed I could transport boat (for an extra charge) to new marina, or parking location. We are selling with intention to buy a bigger one next year and in short term to boost our mortgage deposit. Thanks for looking. Fell free to send over any questions.
If you prefer to have a chat best number would be: 0phone I might consider selling without the trailer if the one is not needed.
