This is a Memory 19 Gaff Rigged Cutter classic sailing yacht. Ready to sail away. She’s a lovely day boat or weekender for coastal and inland waterways, and her lifting keel gives her a draft of only 21 inches when raised so she can explore hidden bays and beaches. Extended, it makes her a surprisingly fast, stable boat. Principal Dimensions:L.O.A.

As with most builds of that time, the layup is very solid and will last almost forever. Because she has been kept on a trailer, the GRP is dry and in excellent condition.
Her mainsail, jib and staysail are all in good condition, and the topsail (not shown) is in new and unused condition. The topsail spar is present, but has been rarely used. She comes with a 3.5 Mercury outboard with only a few hours use, mounted on a lifting plate to keep it clear of the water when sailing. If you wanted to install a small internal engine, the fittings are all present including stern gland, working sea cocks, and fuel tank mountings. There is also a GRP outboard well moulding if you want to fit the outboard inside the boat.
I also have an almost complete set of the builder’s drawings for her, so any repairs or modifications can be done accurately. Her neat cabin has twin berths, and comes with a small portable cooker. There is a boom tent (it needs a little attention) so that two people can also camp in the cockpit when at anchor or moored. Fittings include a bruce anchor, galvanised chain and plaited anchor rope, a set of crutches for transport, manual bilge pump, and a full cover (as shown). There is also a combined depth gauge and speed log with fitted paddle wheel and transponder, but it needs a new 12v battery.
There are two spare chainplates, fenders, and mooring lines. (Liferaft and FlarePack not included in sale). She comes with a very solid trailer with a new winch (shown), which transports her well, and from which she can be launched and recovered. It brought her from Yarmouth to Weymouth earlier this year. The standing rigging is all in good condition, but with some of the shackles needing replacement.
Some of the running rigging has also seen better days, but is fully workable, and would cost relatively little to replace. I had a survey done by a professional yacht surveyor earlier this year before purchase, and the survey is available to anyone who views her. There were two minor issues identified, both of which can be easily remedied. We have sailed her in the Weymouth and Portland area, and at the recent seafood festival she drew the usual admiring comments from other yachtsmen. We have only owned her for a short time, but my family have so loved sailing her that we have decided to invest more in the hobby and are now looking for a larger boat so that five of us can sleep aboard.
That’s the only reason for selling. £6,995 or best offer. She is currently on her trailer in a yard near Weymouth, and can be viewed by arrangement.
