Engine Make: Mariner
Memory 19 "Titch" (sailed by current owner as "Yasamin") is a gaff rigged cutter designed in the 1970's by Tony Robinson. History Inspired by the practicality of the small shoal draft fishing smacks of Brightlingsea the Memory has classic lines and the ability to dry out on a mooring, run up a beach, or load onto a trailer; making her an ideal leisure boat. Over 140 Memorys have been built and are now well proven classics in their own right; safe, easily handled yet fast boats with numerous wins to their credit in Old Gaffers’ Association events. In the late 1970s the Memory was sold as a ‘kit’ boat built by Eric Berqvist. Production stopped until the 1990's, when Salterns boatbuilders acquired the moulds and started to build complete boats from 1996.
Titch Titch is an original flat deck "cuddy" version built (according to the previous owner; actual history and dates cannot be confirmed) in 1978 by Eric Berqvist for home completion by the original owner. She was launched in Norfolk and sailed for a few years before being stored. In the early 90's she was bought, refurbished and moved to Essex, then sailed by 2 owners until I bought her in 1998 and moved her to Chichester. She was used frequently until about 7 years ago when she was moved to a local yard (Itchenor) and stored under cover. I now have a new (old!) boat so it's time for her to move on.

Reasonable offers welcome - if you're using the classifieds board app the "make an offer" button probably won't appear; in that case please message me.Buyer (or buyer courier) collects; if required delivery can be arranged (at buyer cost) with the storage yard.I can meet you at Itchenor for viewing, by arrangement.Additional Information;Titch is stored at a working yard so it could be very convenient for the new owner to negotiate any required services or assistance (eg storage, delivery, re-rigging, antifouling, refinishing, launching etc.) with the yard. In my experience they are very helpful and would provide as much or as little as you needed - including splitting tasks (so you don't have to do the hardest / heaviest / nastiest bits!) and allowing you to complete work yourself whilst storing her on the premises.
