Mitchell 23 sea angler fishing boat Project! This is a project Mitchell 23 for sale, which is need of some tlc. Mitchell 23's are renowned for being very seaworthy boats and can take any weather you throw at them. The hulls are constructed in 'simulated clinker' fiberglass which makes them very robust indeed. This Mitchell 23 is one of the later models with the 'moulded' fiberglass wheelhouse (not to be confused with the older version with leaky wooden wheelhouse's !) They are an extremely easy boat to handle and you can manage this one completely on your own with no worries, and with the added bonus of a 1.8 ford diesel and windlass winch fitted.

They will cruise comfortably at 7 knots and can make up 9 knots with the tide. I purchased one of these a few years ago and turned it into a lovey vessel and it wouldn’t take ‘you’ that much effort to turn this lovely little boat into something special. I unfortunately ‘really don’t have the time to do this project and want to sell this boat as an on-going project at this stage, but if it doesn’t sell the next time you see it for sale it will be 7-8k plus, so grab yourself a great project and a real bargain!
