This Moody 30 has been very well cared for throughout her entire life. Whilst retaining the legendary build quality and strength/sturdiness that Moodys are renowned for, she has been continually updated with many of the new features, equipment and navigational aids to emerge over the years. Several Moody 30 owners did not recognise her as such and one initially mistook her for a 1990s Moody 31. All lines and Sheets running aft to cockpit, she is easily handled solo. With a furling Genoa and 3 reef points on the mainsail, she is a steady and forgiving yacht to sail in good and bad weather and points up into the wind extremely well.
At only 3.6 Tonnes, she is no Tortoise at all but has most of the creature comforts of any modern or new family cruiser.
