She can go anywhere and everywhere on the European canal/river system. Powered by twin Perkins Diesel 50 horse power engines and outdrives which were refurbished in 2016. 5 berths – two doubles and a single. Galley with gas stove, sink and fridge. Bathroom with shower and toilet.

We have owned SEAQUEST for 9 years during which time she has been lovingly restored with no expense spared. The boat was bought in the UK then transported across the channel and into the French canal system where she has been based in the marina in the delightful little town of Pont de Vaux just off the River Soane in Burgundy.

Location approx. 10 miles north of the city of Macon and a similar distance from the historic riverside town of Tournus on the river Soane. We have used the boat as our spring/summer liveaboard for 5 months every year. The marina berth is transferable to a new owner and is only 1140 euros p.a. The Pont de Vaux marina is regarded as one of the best in France and has a fuel dock, chandlery, lift out, a full working boatyard and excellent shower and laundry facilities.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our summers on board our second home and would highly recommend the location as almost at the geographic centre of the French canal system and this beautiful part of France.
