For Sale59 Foot Narrowboat being sold as a project.A David Piper Cruiser Back built 1979/1980This boat was bought as a project, due to a change in circumstances cannot carry on with the work.In the past has been extensively over plated over half the hull length and shoed at the chine full lengthA BMC 1.5 engine with a new PRM 260 Gearbox is present, the engine is not connected, engine has in the past been reconditioned prior to our purchase, a compression test has been done and the pressures were good Engine will need cleaning with wire wheel brushes and paintingAll windows are intact and the frames are excellentRear hatch slide, doors and runners will need replacing, deck boards have been renewedThere are two side hatches, one each side, they are ply construction and will need renewing, they have been sealed to stop water ingressThe front door roof slide is ply and will need replacingCabin sides and roof need disc sanding and paintingBathroom is complete and functional with pump out toilet, holding tank is fibreglass and situated under the bedFibreglass water tank is situated in the bow spaceGalley is complete and usableFixed double berthMorso Squirrel Solid Fuel Stove in good working conditionSome of the interior has been reskinned in plyboardThe lounge area is an empty spaceThere are three large radiators piped down the port side, these were going to be connected to a Webasto Diesel HeaterHot water tank/colorifier with immersion heater and engine piping in cupboardAs already stated, this is a project that needs time and effort to finish, currently on hard standing at Penkridge Staffordshire, a crane is available on site at a good price to load onto truck, haulier with extending trailer is contactable with good transport rates.More pictures to follow
