45 foot 1973 narrow Boat for sale it has six months canal and river license left it also has two and a half years on the boat safety. It was blacked last year. The boat was painted this summer with high quality paint the primer was also good. The boat is fitted with a front headlight. The bilge pump is on a float switch so it maintains its self as and when it needs to.
I've had the boat on the permanent cruising license so it was essential that it is self-sufficient, Which it is. I had to leave the boat for two months during the winter and when I came back all the batteries were fully charged due to two 100 W each solar panels so it started straight away and the float switch was also operating on its own. The boat has an electric shower pump for the shower so more like a normal house. There is an Elsan toilet. So you are your own boss and can empty it when needed also you're not held up by an icy canal in the winter.
It has an electrical flush. There are electrical points in the kitchen sitting room and bedroom for running TVs and charging phones. It also has 1000 W inverter which turns power into 240 V. There is a high quality laminate flooring fitted through the boat except from in the bedroom where it is carpeted. It has a small boiler which supplies the hot water for the taps and shower instantly.
It's supplied by 2 small gas bottles and there is also a spare in the gas box. The boat does not have a traditional small back like most. It is slightly larger so much easier for storing bikes and extra things. The engine is a SR 3 Lister which has a large following by the boaters and high respect. It's been extremely reliable for me which I've heard is normal for that style of engine.
I had a survey carried out on the boat last year which was good. The boat is currently on the Oxford Canal near Bicester. Please contact me for more questions on that or anything else, viewings more than welcome. I will try and check my post on here. But I'm probably more reliable by text message or a phone call Mack phone
