Relisted as the potential buyer did a disappearing act before paying! "Lock Ahead" is up for sale due to lack of time/funds. The basic fit out (new floor etc) is done, all that is required is finishing off and new seat cushions. "Lock Ahead" is a 27 foot Centre Cockpit Norman Canal Cruiser built in the mid 1970s. These are good solid boats, well made and comfortable for weekend trips or longer jaunts.

She comes with an brand new porta potti style toilet, a camping gas oven and a two burner hob with grill all unused. There is also a three way fridge - not connected. The 15hp Mercury outboard has recently had a full overhaul and even though I haven't had it running I am assured it's excellent. The engine is powerful enough for river use as well as canal. The morse style control needs slight attention.

She has two single berths in the rear cabin, a large V shaped double in the front and the two dinette seats could be converted to a further single. She is currently moored at Moons Bridge Marina on the Lancaster Canal - the Marina is acting as agents for the sale which must go through them.
