Narrowboat

The boat has another 2>3 years safety certificate left on her. Currently based in devizes with viewing welcome call or inbox me before visiting. The boat has a lister sr2 air cooled engine recent oil change inc gear boxes, 150 w biard solar panel works great all year round, full 4 ring oven (front safety glass broken but still functioning), new portable toilet, iv lived on the boat for the past 2 years and have stripped the hull back to the metal and red oxide the whole of it with army surplus oxide.. so there are channels for any moisture to run down the hull into a collection area by the back door which is a great way of keeping the inside dry and to clear out any damp. The boat was taken out of the water 2 years ago when i had bought her, she was blackened with new anoids and had some welding done at the time but to be honest she could do with being taken out of the water and worked on this would cost around £600 for a week out of the water and blackened this can be done at devizes marina, inc dry docking and craned onto a lorry (responsibility of new owner as i just don't have time anymore) other than that boating is a very cheap way to live and that is the most expensive part of it, the licence for a year is about £580 and insurance can cost as little as £70 and thats it as long as you move every 2 weeks there is no additional cost for mooring.. i do know of a mooring local to devizes that is available and the boat is the perfect size for the mooring, the mooring has full use of a house, shower etc and there is no bidding system as this is a private mooring that cost under £200 for all included, if you are interested in the mooring i can give you the details if you buy the boat.
Theres mains hooup there and electric plus parking.. a non returnable £200 deposit needs to be taken within 24hrs of final bid to confirm sale so please only bid if you are serious buyers.
