Up for sale is our loved narrow boat Dilly Dally. During our 3 years of ownership we've done lots of work as its acted as our work base in London. Dilly Dally has been moored in Brentford Dock Marina where we have based ourselves out of, resulting in the engine having relatively low engine hours since services and none of the wear and tear that life on the canal can bring. The boat inside has plenty of storage for 2 including: a wardrobe, shelved cupboard, storage under the bed, storage under the sofa, large back box, solar panel box on the roof and a well sized kitchen. Other positive points to note- I am 5ft 11 and my head does not touch the ceilling- Potential transfer of leisure mooring (marina has toilets, wifi, water, electric hook up and other facilities)- Loads of storage for a boat this size- External lockable storage for the less cleanly boat life items- Despite being a small and therefore easy to drive boat, the cabin is nice and spacious- Modern decor inside- Wine rack- Sliding bin inside cupboard- Tiled kitchen- 4 seater sofa that turns into a double bed- Reliable and easy to maintain Lister Engine- Separate tiled bathroom- Back boiler from the stove linking to two radiators, one in the bathroom and the other in the bedroom- 3-Way fridge with custom built unit on top - Battery Charger meaning batteries have never gone below 60%- Solar panel for free electricity- External window lips (prevents windows developing rot or corrosion)- Plant pot decking at the front of the boat- Diesel tank inspection hatch- Kitchen rails for hanging utensils and drying rack Room for improvement - Engine bay could use a detail- Boiler rarely lights/powers (electric ignition problem)- Dilly Dally is definitely not a fast boat If you would like to see more pictures please search for Dilly Dally on the apollo duck website Feel free to contact us with any questions!
