Blue 40 foot Narrowboat, built in 2001 by J.D. Boat Services Gailey Ltd. Internal refurb 2021. Cruiser Style.Here we have for sale our lovely narrowboat, it has been cared for and refitted internally last year. The hull was blacked in July 2021.
Boat safety certificate was granted in May 2021 so is good until 2025. It was taken out of the water May 2021 & professionally surveyed, a copy of this is available to a prospective purchaser. It has a fixed double bed with memory foam mattress & storage lockers underneath. In the lounge area is a new L-shaped sofa bed (makes into a double bed) in grey velour from Sofa Bed Barn, it also has a matching footstool with storage underneath. There is a wall mounted TV/DVD, a modern drawer unit in solid light oak (from oak furniture land).
There is a new (2021) Salamander Hobbit multifuel stove with complimentary blue tiling surround & grey hearth. New carpets throughout plus new quality lined curtains. It has a large folding grey rectangular table which stows away under the gunnels, this can be used in the lounge to make a family dining area for 4 people. Central heating with quality modern horizontal dark granite grey radiators (fitted 2021). The kitchen area has full oven plus 4 ring gas hob, microwave, Shoreline fridge, stainless steel sink with mixer tap & drainer, storage cupboards, shelving.
The bathroom has shower, vanity sink, mirror, pump out flushing toilet & radiator. The boat has had a new Victron Inverter (£1,200) fitted in 2021 for mains electricity conversion. Outside at the stern there is enough room when moored for two chairs & small table for al fresco leisure time. Fitted with a quality diesel engine.Located in the Gloucestershire Cotswolds area. The boat is in use regularly by the owners, therefore viewing is strictly by appointment only at weekends.
