Narrowboat 40ft Traditional Stern

Tommy is a 40 foot traditional style narrow boat built in the early nineties by Moira Trad. Boat safety until July 2024. Blacked 2018 and steel thickness tested, found to be on average 5mm. Double glazed fixed windows new 2016, manufactured by Caldwells. New front and rear rope fenders.

Starting from the front. Gas locker housing 1 x 13kg gas bottle fitted with a leak detection bubble tester. Francis Tunnel lamp. Currently not fitted or connected. Entry into front cabin is through two wooden double glazed doors (one door does have a small crack in but hardly notices).

Under front deck is a stainless steel water tank and water pump (pump new in 2017). Down onto hinged box step housing windlass and mallet. Open plan lounge/kitchen: Oak flooring with a wood/coal burning stove. Kitchen has solid oak block worktops with under mounted stainless steel sink and mixer tap. Shoreline 12v fridge with small freezer compartment (new in 2017).

Hotpoint gas domestic size cooker with separate oven and grill (new in 2017). Glazed pigeon hatch. Bathroom: Thetford china bowl electric flush cassette toilet (new in 2017) with spare cassette. Oak sink unit with china basin. Shower with thermostatic mixer over shower tray.

Shower waste connected to whale gulper (new in 2017). Chrome towel rail. Bedroom: Fitted with twin beds. Glazed pigeon hatch to roof. Led light above each bed.

Small radiator. Calorifier under one bed, housing hot water heated by engine or webasto. Storage under second bed. Engine room. Engine is Mermaid Meteor (marinised Ford 1.6 Fiesta Diesel) it has had new coolant hoses, diesel hoses and filters.

Diesel injection pump serviced 2018. Cam-belt changed 2018. New glow plugs 2018. New alternator 2018. Comes with spare head gasket and new injectors.

Webasto diesel heater in engine compartment (requires switch connecting). 4 x leisure batteries and 1 x starter battery all 110ah. 280w solar panel with MPPT controller. 300w Victron pure sign wave inverter connected to 230v RCD consumer unit feeding plug sockets. New 12v mcb fuse board and wiring 2018.

New rev counter and water temperature gauge 2017. Bilge pump new 2017 Tommy is being sold at a very reasonable price and is sold as seen. Also advertised elsewhere so will remove ad if sold. Payment via PayPal or bank transfer. Collection only from Stoke Ferry, Norfolk.
