Narrowboat

This beautiful traditional narrowboat is up for sale, she is 31ft long and 6'6 wide. She was built in 1983 at the order of its longest owner. Since being in my ownership i have had the entire boat stripped back to steel. Including bilge maintenance , new floor boarding , complete re wire and the very best spray foam insulation. She was recently fitted out (June 2019) by one of the best boat fitters in the UK.

Her small size certainly won't disappoint you , Powered by a Vetus engine that has had recent maintenance and service. The boat has a very well designed interior - having massive amounts of storage, creating a more spacious feel. The boat has a bespoke galley kitchen with beautiful Iroko wooden work tops and also a hand crafted Granite drainer that is moulded around a good size butler sink, its simply stunning, along with that a brand new Thetford Oven & Grill, two ring gas hob and one of the very best Fridge/freezers you can buy ( WAECO CRD-50). The kitchen cupboards/Draws are all bespoke (21 draws & 1 cupboard ) with hidden draws in the kickers below. To the bow of the boat houses a seating area with table that pulls out.

The living/sleeping area is snug and cosy with a fantastic multi fuel stove, bespoke side hatch and also a roof hatch, allowing lots of light to enter the saloon . There is a full size shower that has been sunk into the floor to allow maximum head room (6'3), a small hand basin with mixer tap including a small granite splash back and bespoke fitted mirror, Inside the bathroom is a large cupboard that has the Calorifier/immersion boiler, (great when causing and also great when hooked up to 240v power. The cupboard has plenty of storage for towels etc. Beautiful doors that have a set of two keys, double glazed panes and also a latch . All the lighting in the boat is amazing LED technology and the fuse board is easily located in the cupboard along with 240v circuit board.

The attention to detail is second to none, this is truly an amazing space that has a great vibe. The external paint job has lasted well over the years however it was my intention to have her repainted. She was stripped back 10 years ago so rust isn't and issue or flakey paint, just more of a polish is required and touch up. An updated survey from June 2016 confirmed that she is in great order, also an updated version from May 2018 is available to be seen. Loads more pictures and happy to do social distant viewings .
