REDUCED FOR FAST SALE ! Silver Otter is a Cruiser style narrow boat built in 1976 by West Riding Narrow Boats and powered by a BMC 1.5 4 cylinder diesel. The lovely Silver Otter has been refurbished to look fresh and modern, and that she does. Stepping down from the large stern deck there is a large lounge area with a solid fuel stove and free standing sofa which converts to double. The sofa is easily removed to suit personal style and preference and to create more space.

The galley has a full size cooker and stainless steel sink. Hot water is provided from a paloma water heater. The bathroom is fully tiled with shower and Thetford cassette toilet. The bed room is at the front with free standing double bed. Storage can also be added to suit personal taste with room for wardrobe and chest of draws.Silver otter has the benefit of a fully installed 700w solar system charging twin 400 amp battery banks giving a total of 800 amps at your disposal.This feeds into a 2000w inverter for all your power needs with 240v sockets throughout the boat.The BMC engine was professionally overhauled 2 years ago with new head gasket and glow plugs that will give a life time of service.This boat was built of high quality British Steel and showed no signs of corrosion or pitting when last surveyed.

Silver Otter has always been maintained and has been taken out of the water regularly, she was triple blackened in November 2016 and all anodes were replaced (see picure). The hull remains in excellent condition. There is no nasty surprises lurking below the water line. Silver Otter will be not be needed to be taken out of the water for another 4-5 years. A independant survey will be welcomed.

Silver Otter is ready to move into immediately, although she will appreciate your personal touch to make a lovely home. She is a spacious boat and a beautiful shape. Silver Otter is ideal for living aboard or long term cruising. I must say this is a regretful sale but necessary as I have had to move back to Australia.
