60 ft Trad style narrowboat "Star"Built in 1993 by Gary Gorton. Starting at the rear,Star has a traditional boatmans cabin complete with a working cooking range,moving further into the boat you come to the engine room which houses a 1950's Lister FR2, this is a water cooled thumper which starts, runs and pushers the boat very well, also in the engine room is a Victron Inverter charger, 3 cabin and 1 starter battery which are charged via the Durite split charge relay through the alternator off the engine.Moving forward takes you into the bedroom, this has a fitted wardrobe and bed.After this you come to the bathroom which is fully tiled floor to ceiling ,there is a showerbath, sink with cupboard underneath and a portable toilet toilet,there is also a full size washing machine in the bathroom.Moving forward again you will enter the kitchen which has plenty of storage and worktop space with mains sockets above.The kitchen is also fully tiled and has a full size gas cooker, lpg water boiler and electric fridge.The kitchen is open plan to the large living area, in the living room there is a Morso Squirrel coal burning fire with a back boiler which powers radiators in the bathroom, bedroom and engine room.Out of the living room you pass through the doors into the front well which is covered by a cratch cover.The exterior paintwork of the boat is in good sound condition.A survey is available it was carried out on the 30th July 2018, at that time the boat was taken out of the water and blacked, 6 new 2-5 kilo anodes were also fitted.Star is in great condition for her age and is ready to serve her next owner for years to come.
