Ski Nautique running on LPG -- All images from last weekend, the boat ran brilliant-- Reliable, well maintained ski/wakeboard/surf boat for sale due to joining another club that run a club boat I have owned this boat for the last 5 years, used annually through summer as a second boat for skiing/wakeboarding at home between Tees waterski club and more lately Newburn waterski and wakeboard on the River Tyne. We mainly ski/wakeboard at Tallington Lakes at weekends which is where the boat is currently located on a boat lift and is available for viewing/test driving From new the boat has been used privately (no high ski school hours) at Tallington Lakes and kept on a boat lift, the hull is in great condition for its age. I have serviced the boat annually replacing spark plugs, oil & filter, raw water impeller, greasing the rudder and winterised each year draining the block then filling with antifreeze as a rust inhibitor and greasing/replacing the bearings on the braked road trailer In the last 2 years I have changed the fan belts, purchased a new key pad for starting and changed the solenoid to the starter motor, the prop has been balanced and polished providing the boat with very smooth vibration free acceleration. A New breathable mooring cover with added vents and stainless steel ratchets was purchased from midlands nautique approx £500 which keeps the boat dry and tents perfectly, never been stretched with a pool of water in the back. Since buying the boat I added the Perfect Pass Stargazer speed control with ZBOX (a fantastic ZERO OFF emulator which replicates the same tournament pull as ZERO OFF in the slalom course and includes wakeboard mode).
This is a must for anyone serious about getting good on the water, especially if relying on novice or less experienced boat drivers, allowing you to select the speed to 0.1mph. The system cost £1500 and is of great value, even if you don't think it will be... try it! The Stargazer System also displays everything you need, RPM,speed, set speed, lake temperature, gps lock and boat hours. Very easy to drive free hand and use as a digital gps or paddle wheel speedo. We have just towed the boat 200 miles to Tallington lakes on Friday from Newcastle, it is a braked degraff safety trailer which is ready for the road We will be putting 10 to 20 hours on the boat over the next 4 weeks while we wait for my Dads boat to come down for summer.
The boat will be well used and tested over the next few weeks ready for the next owner to use trouble free through summer. The boat has 500 hours from new, the boats original hour meter which is on the rpm display stopped working when I added the Perfect Pass Stargazer which has 50 hours on it now, when you see the boat it is clear it's been a low hour boat still with original upholstery. The hours are stored on the boats ECU so if it was ever taken to nautique main dealers for maintenance or repair or had a replacement rpm display fitted original hours would appear. --------Also had new automatic bilge fitted last year------------- The boat originally had a radio fitted from new but currently hasn't and I never needed one, wiring for the the speakers are in place however if the future owner wanted to fit an audio system I'd recommend changing the speakers to. I am happy to deliver the boat to any lake/ski club in the UK for a nominal fee and once 100% of the funds for the boat are transferred and ideally a free ski if the weather is nice.
For serious buyers drivers/skiers/wakeboarders happy to take you out behind the boat, slalom skiers can try the speed control in the slalom course and happy to demo how to map the slalom course on your own lake. In 4 Weeks the boat will be back in Newcastle Upon Tyne For any further questions please contact Matthew Burns phone
