Fluorescent lighting over the sink and cooker There is a round dining area to port, with storage behind and under the seating. Both UK and continental 220 volt power supplies 24 volt decorative lighting. A large clock and barometer are mounted on the forward bulkhead. Teak panelling surrounds the area. A large round table with seating for 6 which converts to an additional double berth.
An opening hatch is fitted in the ceiling and has the advantage of being fitted with a fly screen. Up 5 steps to Main Wheel house with helm position to port, the wheel house is above the engine room, and below the fly bridge. Electronic equipment includes Navman chart plotter, AIS reciever, 2 VHF radios, Depth sounder, Log, Wind instrument. 2 X Oil pressure, exhaust temperature, engine temperature, hours run clocks and rev counters one for each engine. Twin amp meters and volt meters and an engine revs balance gauge.
Neco electronic auto helm. 12 low voltage lights switched in pairs top offer a range of lighting permutations, lighting to the main entrance which is via a sliding glass door aft, a number of 220 volt both continental and British standard sockets are fitted. Steering compass, Barometer, hygrometer and thermometer are fitted along with switches for all the running lights, anchor light, instrument lights, windscreen wipers (with intermittent control) bilge pump, deck wash pump, air horn and instrument master switch. Under the helm position is a cupboard housing the electrical distribution panel, master switch and all the fuses and circuit breakers. Other equipment included and intercom to the fly bridge and heads, cup holders and the controls for and automated horn and loud speaker for communication to the fore deck.
Hydraulic steering system with a teak and stainless steel wheel. To port is a number of cupboards and a drinks cabinet with illumination. To starboard in a long settee which curves at the after end, with storage underneath. Two hatches are under the carpet which afford access to the engines for servicing. A teak folding chart table is fitted to starboard.
A large free standing teak coffee table. Large sliding windows all round. Down the aft companion way steps to heads and shower to starboard with wash hand basin with hot and cold pumped water supply and cupboard underneath, fully electrically operated toilet with holding tank, pump out connection and on board macerator pump to discharge at sea, shower with hot and cold supply, and large cupboard with sliding mirrored doors. To port is a walk in cupboard which houses the Candy 3 1/2 Kgm. Capacity washing machine and glass fronted drinks cooler.
220 volt supply for the above appliances. There is also plenty of storage space for tools and other spare parts. The companion way steps are removable to allow access to the engine room. A small switch panel beside the steps control the aft bilge pump, pressurised water system, toilet, pump out, engine room lighting, and emersion hot water heater. Hot water is also heated from the startboard engine.
Twin berth aft cabin under the aft deck. Fitted with a central wardrobe with hanging space, there are full size single berths on either side with deep mattresses lying on slatted bases. The stainless steel fresh water tanks are underneath the berths. Two long cupboards are fitted on each side above and outboard of the berths. Extra bright lighting is fitted to the ceiling and each berth has an adjustable reading lamp.
Teak panelling is installed all round and a brass barometer and clock are fitted. All the cabins are fully carpeted and matching curtains are hung at all the windows. On deck from forward. Teak laid decks with tradition 18mm solid teak screwed and bedded to the GRP. On the fore deck is an electrically operated anchor winch and gypsy, which is equipped with at least 60 meters of anchor chain and a heavy anchor, similar to a Danforth type.
(During our ownership we have never dragged.) The self-draining anchor chain locker is under the foredeck with access from a hatch in the forward cabin. Solid stainless steel guard rails are fitted all round Stainless steel fender holders are fitted on both sides of the foredeck. 2 substantial bollards are bolted to the foredeck with additional strengthening under the GRP. 2 powerful head lamps are mounted on the front of the fly bridge as is the loud speaker. All the windows are made of a bronze tinted toughened glass and mounted in aluminium frames.
The side decks are as per the foredeck and laid with teak and fitted with stainless steel hand rails. Substantial mooring bollards are installed amidships. The filler cap for the diesel is located on the port side and the water filler is installed in the port side step to the aft deck. The pump out fitting is fitted in the starboard side. The aft deck has 2 bench seats that lift form lockers and act as storage for deck equipment.
A canopy covers the entrance to the main wheel house this acts as a useful place to put a bicycle, the deck chairs and table etc. There are mooring bollards fitted to both sides, and stainless steel guard rails surround the area. Between the gap in the deck lockers are steps leading down to a stainless steel swimming platform. A shower tap is fitted to the transom with both hot and cold water supplies. To starboard is a bracket to hold an outboard motor and to port is the life raft.
2 substantial stainless steel davits each fitted with winches are also mounted on the stern. Fly Bridge Five steps take you from the aft deck to the fly bridge. 6 seats are all mounted on storage boxes, which are useful for deck equipment such as hoses and electrical shore cable. The three forward facing seats revers to facilitate an additional seating area when in port or at anchor. At the aft end of the fly bridge the twin stainless steel mast is located, this has the twin radio aerials fitted along with the steaming light aft deck light, radar reflector, flag halliards and the wind instrument sender unit.
Also at the aft end of the fly bridge on the port side are the shore power connection with a circuit breaker, and the deck wash hose connection. The helmsman has instruments for depth, speed, engine revolutions X 2 and a steering position indicator. There is also an intercom to connect the helmsman to the galley and the heads. A spot light, helps when navigating in confined waters in the dark. Tables on either side of the helmsman make lunch underway a pleasure.
There is a cover for the fly bridge when it is not in use. Additional equipment includes 8 fenders, various warps and mooring lines, ground spikes, 4 fire extinguishers, fire blanket, 2 X life buoys with lamps, shore power lead and various lengths of hose, and a selection of tools and engine spares. And a stainless steel boarding step.Please note.
