For sale: Nordic Folkboat laying just off the beautiful town of Flushing opposite Falmouth Harbour. She's only just gone back in the water after a lot of TLC (9 coats of varnish!) This is what Wikipedia has to say about the Folkboat: 'The Folkboat sails well in light and heavy air well beyond initial expectations. Its iron ballast keel represents more than half of this displacement, making the Folkboat extremely stiff and seaworthy, and it is one of the smallest craft to have made regular ocean crossings and circumnavigations.' She has a very large and deep cockpit which means for her size she can accommodate an amazing number of people - 6 fairly comfortably, 4 very comfortably. The trade off, of course, is limited space down below.

We very much treat her as a day boat using down below for little other than storage. While she can accommodate 6 people, she's also incredibly easy to sail single handed - she's an amazing boat to sail. A beautiful looking boat that sails incredibly well in light and strong winds. Lot's of room for friends and family above deck. Completely new engine in 2014, sails are in fine condition, rigging all ok - nothing about to break or need replacing.

I can't express how many amazing times we've had on this boat. We treat her as a day boat - down below is not made up for overnight stays though this could be changed relatively easily - it's not a mess down there - just not set up for cruising. This could be altered with 2-3 days work - not a big deal. Nothing of real concern on the boat in terms rigging etc but depending on how you are you may want to upgrade a few bits on the boat but that would be by choice, not necessity. >> The Setup The boat is moored off Flushing harbour opposite Falmouth.

We're happy for you to keep Rhythm there for the rest of the year should you wish too (so long as you pay the fees of course). This would include the use of our tender moored up against the wall at Flushing (it's a pretty great set-up!) When Rhythm comes out of the water in winter we'd need you to move her to a new location as the mooring will be taken by a new boat owned by a member of our extended family.
