Norman 20' Boat Project

Bought at the end of last summer as yet another boat project. Stripped out over a weekend and then left to sit since then in a dry barn with six other project boats...This morning I moved it to the carport next to my workshop because I need to free up some space in the boat barn to get round the other boats. The photos give an idea of the work needed and the asking price reflects this.There is a perfectly sound and watertight canopy (navy blue) on a stainless steel retractable frame which attaches to the glass windshield. This is included in the price. When installed, this canopy fully encloses the cockpit.

The original green vinyl cushions for the interior and the exterior are all clean, intact and without damage. If the boat hasn't sold by the end of the listing, then I am going to start the work in the evenings and complete the project with a view to putting the boat in the water at a marina on the Ouse for use this summer. Working in the evenings, I estimate there's less than a month's work required and about £500 of materials needed. The boat came with a 2 stroke 9.8 hp Tohatsu engine but I've since bought a used 4 stroke 20hp Honda for it. Both these engines are available and will be listed separately in the next few days.

Both have been professionally serviced and any new parts required have been installed by a local marine engineer that I use. They both come with the requisite steering and throttle cables etc. They can be started and seen running in my outboard engine tank here on site. I can put the boat on a trailer and deliver it - depending on distance and after full payment has been made - at an agreed price. Alternatively, I can load it here onto whatever transport you bring.
