Norseman 33 Twin Engine Motorboat

Madge Wildfire is a spacious 33 Ft boat offering pretty lines and good seagoing ability. Designed by GL Watson and built at the Aberdour boatyard, she has similarities to the Spey class motorsailer. Built in 1971 she has a colvic hull and a displacement of around ten tons. Stored inside for three years she was put back in the water in August 2019 and various upgrading has been carried out since. There are two cabins which sleep 5/6 and two heads, one with a shower.

There is pumped hot water and a diesel heater which sends air to all the cabins. The boat is powered by two reliable BMC engines which have been looked over by Graham Diesels and the necessary work carried out. She has twin bilge keels an can therefore take the ground or be kept on a swinging mooring which dries. The boat has the following Koden radar 3640, Simrad Robertson AP3000x Autopilot( needs new wind vane)Wallas 30 D heater with new digital controller. Garmin GPS 126/128.

Ics 4 Navtex. Vetus bow thruster, 4 new batteries, maintenance free deep sea seals on the props. Work carried out:- engines serviced July 2019 water pumps and diesel injector pumps reconditioned July 2019. Electrics- new shore power 2019, new galvanic isolator, new victron 60A battery charger with split charging system, 4 new batteries 2019 new Standard horizon VHF. Alternators reconditioned.

The hull had new anodes July 2018 when it was anti fouled before going back in the water. The masts have been stripped back to bare wood and revarnished with Epifanes varnish. Viewings can be arranged on phone
