North Quay 17 Day Sailing Yacht

Lovely traditional looking, yet modern construction, gaff rigged day boat. The hull is cedar construction, sheathed in woven glass and epoxy resin inside and out. Transom, coamings and trim in mahogany with a hollow Douglas fir mast. Fittings are bronze. Spacious cockpit with plenty of room for 6 people.

Lifting stainless steel centreplate. Outboard engine tucked away in a well, but with easy access to the engine and controls. The boat can be used as a 'trailer sailer' or kept on a mooring. It is easy to rig and launch (which can be done by one person). It sails beautifully, whether single handed or with a family.

The lifting centre plate means creeks and beaches can be accessed easily. The boat can be used for camping, with the forward area forming two bunks. There is a porta potty stored below the forepeak and plenty of locker space. There is a spray hood and also a tent that covers the whole of the cockpit when camping. Selling with Yamaha 4Hp outboard engine.
