Northcraft 5.5M Rib - Suzuki DT100 2 Stroke - 100HP Powerboat

Northcraft 5.5m RIB & Suzuki 100 HP Outboard We are selling our Northcraft RIB and Suzuki DT100 HP outboard due to having just bought a new Ribcraft. The boat is complete with fully serviced engine by Suzuki dealer in July 17 and refurbished trailer. It is ready to go. The boat has the following features:-Horizon Chart plotter & DSC VHF, compass, horn, stainless steel prop, navigation lights,12V sockets and USB charging ports, in built fuel tank, anchor, warps, 4 jockey seats with storage below, deck and console lockers, A-frame, fuel and battery isolation points, electric bilge pump, alloy trailer wheels, spare wheel. The tubes all hold air and the trailer pulls well, bearings were replaced Jul 17 along with the wheels and mudguards.

The jockey seats and back rests were re-upholstered in July 17. Fire extinguisher is brand new and located on bracket in the console storage locker. Northcraft RIBs are made in the UK to a real high standard. The deep V hull hull design work really well in the kind of chop and swell we get on the East coast. Engine is 2-stroke but don't let that put you off.

It's a V4, really responsive with loads of torque. These engines were used by the Marines! The tilt and trim works perfectly from the engine switch or the remote switch on the throttle lever. Just replaced fuel filter, fuel/water separator, fuel pump, and spark plugs. I've just had all the console hatches replaced with new ones.

Trailer has had brand new bearings, mudguards and jockey wheel. This is the ideal family RIB with 4 jockey seats and would be good as a first RIB. The RIB runs as it should. OK now the negatives:The tube has had a professional repair to port side sponson, just behind the transom. The repair covers both sides of the small hole and does not leak.

The tubes all hold air fine.The fuel tank gauge works intermittently (new gauges are around £30). The trailer brakes have been removed however the boat and engine are light and tows really well. RIB is currently stored in Hunstanton in Norfolk but could be available to view in Royston Herts also if you give me notice. The RIB was last used in July 17. It can be seen running.
