Offshore 8 Metre

A used offshore 8 metre that we have sailed for the last 3 years from pinmill in suffolk. She has a yanmar 10hp air cooled diesel engine in good working order, comes with an old 4 man liferaft (untested) no headsail , it split in the october gales,but was almost opaque & knackered, the front hatch also needs replacing as it also blew away, but the main is almost new & the spinnaker ok & comes with a pole. Half the teak rubbing strip is missing on the left side, has been for years! The boat is stored in a yard at Pinmill & is paid for until the end of April, we are retaining the mooring for our new boat, but there may be a mooring spare if you ask. Cost for a year about £1400 for mooring, parking & winter storage.

This is a swinging mooring so you need a dinghy. Best to come & have a look or phone me. She can be sailed after a days maintenance, the boatyard launch her when they can or I ask in late April. Lots of other stuff included, compass, GPS for speed,sounder ,bilge pump a 5hp silver seagull backup engine etc. I will start this at £1000 as I won't take any less , I can meet for viewing & a pint(great pub at pinmill) most days,so give me a ring.

I live in Ely, Cambs but the boat is in a yard at pinmill Ipswich. The exaust pipe leaks fumes into the cabin, so will need another one fabricating. Standing headroom in the main cabin (6ft?)
