NO RESERVE, MUST SELL!! Offchance is a seaworthy cruiser/racer designed by Van Der Stadt.While not as accommodating by modern standards she offers 5 full berths. What she lacks in accommodation she more than makes up for in seaworthiness! I've sailed Offchance in over 40kt winds & she just takes it all in her stride.I've raced her & she excels in offshore events. One one occasion, in 2010, racing her from Scarborough to Ijmuiden in the Netherlands in challenging conditions to say the least!
Against all odds we won our class in that race.Since then I've added & upgraded Offchance to make her an even more capable cruiser spending thousands. Major upgrades were a brand new Beta engine coupled to a feathering prop, roller furling genoa & fully battened mainsail with stack pack for easy handling.Over the last few years circumstances have meant I've been unable to sail her as much as I'd like to. So with reluctance I'm putting her up for sale.I very much doubt there'll be another vessel as well equipped as Offchance is for the price!!
