Orkney Fastliner 19' 50HP Evinrude 4 Stroke Road Trailer Fishing Day Boat

Brama-Tu is a 19 foot Orkney Fastliner circa 1990. The hull serial number is obscured under engine guard plate and not possible to view at present. She has an original Orkney GRP top screen fitted to afford greater protection to the helm. An original Orkney Engine Guard rail is fitted to the transom providing excellent protection to the outboard. Brama-Tu is powered by a 50 hp Evinrude 4 stroke outboard engine, manufactured in 2001, purchased by me in 2002 (bought from Oakley Motor Units, Brighton) currently showing 443 running hours.

The boat and engine has only been used recreationally and has been annually serviced. The engine is reliable and starts, runs and pumps water without issue. The final images show screen shots of the diagnostic analysis completed on 7th April. Brama-Tu is fitted with quality marine electronics comprising: a Ritchie Angler Compass with light,Garmin VHF 100i DSC with roof mounted ariel (approximately 3 years old), Garmin ECHOmap 50 DV Combination Colour Depth Sounder/Plotter (approximately 3 years old). There is a plastic 70 litre fitted fuel tank in transom with in-line water separator.

A 12 volt heavy duty battery, approximately 3 years old, is fitted in the bow area. A Superspeed Trailers LTD road trailer with new, galvanised mud guards fitted is included. The trailer has not immersed since the bearings were renewed. The boat was lifted on and off the trailer to launch. There are two custom made tonneau covers, one full length (cuddy to transom well), the other a short cover enclosing the cuddy area affording weather protection.

Brama-Tu boasts a custom made steering console into which all electronics are mounted. There is also a marine switch/fuse board on the rear of the console. The foredeck has been professionally modified to eliminate the anchor well, a known cause of leakage via the drain, and significantly increase the fore locker space. The hull has been anti-fouled in April 2018 using quality paint. Fully functioning Port and Starboard navigation lights are fitted to the cuddy.

A stainless steel custom made Bruce type anchor with chain and braided anchor warp is included, as is a stainless steel Alderney ring for anchor retrieval. A manual bilge pump is fitted along with a 12 volt auto bilge pump. Brama-Tu has a live bait tank to the port side fitted with a 12 volt pump which acts as tank fill or deck wash. In addition there is a custom made stainless steel "scoop pick up" on transom for bait tank which pumps water whilst under way without the need to use the electric pump. Brama-Tu will be sold with 3 X 30” fenders for mooring as well as having 5 fishing rod holders fitted and a 3 rod vertical storage rack.

A boat hook will also be included. Brama-Tu has been owned by me since the late 90s, originally in Jersey, and in the IOW for the last three years. There is a genuine reason for sale and she will be sadly missed. Brama-Tu is a safe, efficient, well appointed day/fishing boat that will provide her new owner with years of fun.
