Here for sale is my lovely traditional broads style cruiser. As its an Ormelite cruiser it is quite rare as only a few were made. I'm only selling as a change of circumstances means I no longer have the time to use her. 'Thistledoo' is 25 ft long and currently moored on the Driffield canal at Hempholme (near to river Hull) which is a picturesque and quiet location. The mooring fee is due and is about £460/pa and comes with electric hook up (pay for a top up card) and a water supply (the water tank is huge and ive never even topped it up after 18 months use).
The other side of the river is cheaper but has no services. Boat has the sliding roof in the cockpit, where you can open just the side windows (as photo) or slide the whole roof back. There is a double gas bottle container, 2 good batteries with space for third, an inverter, depth gauge, usual water pump/12v lights etc, all working. Has 240v hook up (cable not incl.)with sockets galore which you can use via batteries/inverter as I did (I used a set of car jump leads to connect onto battery). Very good battery isolator that can switch between batteries for your lighting/engine starting or if low can switch to both.
The engine has never failed to start even in mid winter. The front compartment has 2 single beds with infill to make a large double. Lots of storage in galley with gas oven and double ring burner plus sink - has hot water/boiler installed but I never used it. In the rear there is a 3 way fridge (gas/12v/240v) which is good for beer! The superb BMC engine is next to the fridge under sink (with noise dampening boards - just need a cloth on cooker to stop rattle).
Has proper water filter fitted with separate tap so you can drink straight from tap. More storage with area for double bed that can be made up with cushions and table. The steps from rear access turn upside down to make bed. There is a separate toilet area containing sea toilet (needs a new o-ring/sealer in top as there's a slight leak in pump). Has a shower fitted which works but no tray was installed so I was going to make it into a wet room.
There is no safety cert, however, it would breeze through as the whole boat was refurbished by previous owner who spent thousands on it. Has 3 fire extinguishers, gas is all vented and maybe the odd sticker for shut off valves required. There is a car park for vehicles and you can go through a gate so your vehicle is not that far from boat. Also there's a youtube video somewhere of boat going across humber. Cash or cheque only please but have to allow time for cheque to clear.Think that's about it, but if you have any questions just message me.
UPDATE: I shall probably be at boat this Friday afternoon 27th/possibly sat afternoon 28th if anyone wants to view 0phone or text me for additional photos with your email address. Note boat is at Hempholme (not Lincoln).
