Oyster 16 Day Boat - 15hp Electric Start Yamaha 4 Stroke, For Fishing And Family

For sale is my Oyster 16 with 15hp Yamaha (electric start, 4 stroke) long shaft outboard. I bought this three years ago for short fishing trips and to get my young family used to being on the water. We are moving onto sailing now, so she needs a new owner. The boat is old, heavily built in fibreglass, and in reasonable condition. Most importantly she is sound, with a strong, water tight hull, and a reliable electric start Yamaha 4 stroke outboard that is regularly serviced.

A normal afternoon on the water uses 3-4 litres of fuel - she is surprisingly economical. I keep her on a yard trailer for launching off a slipway. The trailer is not suitable for road use, but I was able to hire a Brian James car trailer and move her on that - see the photo. The previous owner kept her on a mooring. She is strong and stable, we've had eight on board with ease.

The following kit is included: Trailer; cover; ropes; auxiliary outboard bracket; fenders; fire extinguisher; fuel tank; fuel hose; rod holders; boarding ladder; ensign mount. She has a switch panel with fuses, nav lights and an electric bilge pump, but I did not use them, and they will need work to operate.
